The event, which took place in sunny Miami, brought together beauties from 74 countries of the world on one stage.

The winner of the Miss Universe this year was the representative of Mexico Andrea Meza.

A 26-year-old girl is a programmer by training. The girl studied software engineering and is proud to be “a woman who has graduated in a field dominated by men,” her profile on the competition website says. She is also a model, certified makeup artist and women's rights activist.

The title of First Vice Miss went to 27-year-old Julia Gama from Brazil. The second Vice Miss was 26-year-old Yanik Matseta from Peru.

The TOP-5 also includes the representative of India Adlene Castelino and Kimberly Jimenez from the Dominican Republic.

Yelizaveta Yastremskaya, a 28-year-old from Kiev, representing Ukraine, was dressed in a dress made of white and black satin, writes Air force... In the TOP-21 of the competition, the girl did not come out.

Elizaveta Yastremskaya is a model. Also involved in design. She received the crown and title “Miss Ukraine Universe” in 2020 without a competition.

The idea of ​​the dress was to embody a traditional Ukrainian paper ornament in the dress.

According to the designer Natalia Shevchuk, seven masters worked on the dress during the month.

For the costume, many meters of white and black satin were used, as well as a special solution that holds the fabric. The weight of the dress is 7 kilograms.

The participant from Russia also did not make it to the semifinals of the Miss Universe contest, reported "Lenta.ru".

Alina Sanko is a 22-year-old Russian model. In 2019, she won the title of Miss Russia, and also became a participant in the Miss World contest. However, the girl could not participate in Miss Universe in 2019, since she did not receive a visa on time.

According to Iz.ru, Oksana Fedorova became the only Miss Universe from Russia in 2002, but four months later she was stripped of this title, since the winner was supposed to participate in advertising and charitable events around the world.

However, Fedorova practically did not leave Russia. The title passed to Justine Pasek from Panama.
