2020 Election Calendar: Schedule of Fall's Most Important Debates
The main pre-election events that will take place in the weeks remaining before the US presidential election can be counted on one hand. Dates of the most important upcoming debates invites you to find out NBC News.
With the Democratic and Republican conventions held, all eyes are on the upcoming presidential and vice presidential debate. The Presidential Debate Commission has already announced the moderators of each discussion:
- Fox News' Chris Wallace will host the first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden on September 29 in Cleveland;
- Susan Page, USA Today Bureau Chief in Washington, DC, will moderate the debate between US Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris, California on October 7 in Salt Lake City, Utah;
- Steve Scully, Producer and Editor of C-SPAN Washington Magazine, will host his second presidential debate on October 15 in Miami;
- Kristen Welker will host her third and final presidential debate on October 22nd in Nashville, Tennessee.
All four discussions will last 90 minutes and begin at 21:00 pm ET.
