Police may bring about 20 new charges of harassment in Hollywood

Los Angeles police are investigating nearly two dozen cases of alleged sexual harassment involving several people in the entertainment industry, said in an interview NBC News senior department employee.
The cases concern not only publicly known persons.
A police officer claims that rape is among the crimes, and in many cases the same person is accused. As the number of charges against victims grows, it is expected that the number of investigations will increase.
Police in New York have already stated that more than 85 rape charges against producer of the film Harvey Weinstein, are such that "trustworthy." They collect more evidence to create a case.
NBC News confirmed that Los Angeles is still investigating four cases of sexual harassment related to Weinstein.
A spokesman for the producer said that Weinstein "unequivocally denies" all the claims regarding non-consensual sex.
In response to a wave of accusations against several individuals, Los Angeles County prosecutors formed a new task force of prosecutors to consider possible criminal charges.
The task force will "provide a unified approach to the legal review and potential prosecution of any case that meets both the legal and factual standards of criminal prosecution," Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey said last week.
The flow of accusations began to grow rapidly after American producer Harvey Weinstein was in the middle of a scandal: Dozens of actresses and former female employees accused him of sexual harassment. After the producer was exposed, a wave of confessions of victims of harassment from other stars began, in particular, the accusations fell Kevin Spacey, Donald Hofffman, Steven Seagal and others.
