The World Economic Forum started in Davos, where the richest representatives of world business as well as politicians from different countries traditionally speak. Among the richest participants of the forum this year was the president of Ukraine - Petro Poroshenko, who took ninth place with a fortune of $ 1.6 billion, the portal said Cityam.com
Founder headed the ranking Microsoft Bill Gates, followed by Jack Ma - founder of the Chinese wholesale giant Alibaba worth $ 47,2 billion. Ray Dalio is in third place, and the founder JD.com Richard Liu - on the fourth.
Donald Trump is ranked sixth. His fortune is estimated at $ 4,9 billion, although this figure is disputed.

But despite Trump's decision to take part, the average net profit of speakers in Davos this year fell from $ 469,5 million in 2017 to $ 414,3 million this year.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a Swiss non-governmental organization best known for organizing annual meetings in Davos. Leading business leaders, political leaders, prominent thinkers and journalists are invited to meetings. The subject of discussion is the most acute global problems, including health and environmental protection.
In 2018, the forum will take place from 23 to 26 in January.
Recall that President of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko and his family from 1 to January 8 held Christmas holidays in the Maldives, flying there under other names. Poroshenko flew in a private plane Falcon 7X from Kiev (Kiev airport) to Male airport in the Maldives.
