According to sources, Poroshenko rested in the Maldives from 2 to 8 in January at the five-star resort Cheval Blanc, consisting of private villas in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

8 adults and 2 children settled in the resort’s most expensive villa, located on a separate island. In addition to the main villa with a swimming pool, there is another guest apartment, a two-story apartment, a pier for boats, a spa area, a place for dining in the open air and a private beach.

But there were also additional costs. For example, the editors were able to establish that during his vacation, diving, water sports and boat trips for seven days cost Poroshenko $18. Vacationers spent a total of $705 on breakfast, $10 on lunch, and in-villa dinners cost $791.

At the Cheval Blanche resort, the president has already been three times, and there he also spent his birthday in 2016.

Given that Poroshenko is the official millionaire, he can afford a vacation at such an expensive resort and, of course, is entitled to it. The use of fictitious names can be explained by security requirements. However, the absence of the president in a warring country for a week without official notification of this is a serious violation of his official duties, as well as a threat to the security of the country.
