An open letter to Donald Trump who wrote Brandon Stanton, Founder Humans of New York, became the most popular in the history of Facebook.
At the time of this writing, the letter gathered about 2 millions of likes and secured about 1 million 86 thousands of social network users.
Facebook and Stanton's Instagram now has over 22 million followers. Therefore, it is not surprising that so many people supported him.
In a letter, Brandon Stanton criticized Donald Trump for promoting racist ideas.
“I'm a journalist, Mr. Trump. And over the past couple of years, I have done extensive interviews with hundreds of Muslims on the streets of Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan. I talked to hundreds of refugees from Syria and Iraq in seven different countries. And I can confirm: who is full of hatred, it is you, ”wrote Stanton.
“You are not a“ victim ”of anger that you kindle. You are a person who encourages prejudice and violence in the pursuit of power. And although your words will change in the coming months, you will still be who you are, ”concludes Brandon Stanton.
Humans of New York was created in 2010 year. It publishes photos of residents and stories about them. Now she has about 17 millions of subscribers. The book with the stories of New Yorkers called Humans of New York has become a bestseller.
