'Leave Now': Israel warned tourists about the dangers of visiting Egypt

Israelites vacationing in the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt) during the holiday Pesach (19-27 April), strongly recommended immediately return to their homeland.

This is stated in the message of the headquarters of the national security of Israel, writes "Columnist".

There are currently more than 30 thousands of Israeli tourists in Sinai.

According to the headquarters, there is an immediate threat of abduction of Israeli citizens. Relatives of those who happened to be on the territory of Egypt were called upon to contact their relatives and inform them about the warning.

According to headquarters, Israelis in Sinai are in immediate danger and literally play their own lives.

“Our warnings are simply ignored. I saw that people were crossing the border with entire families - with young children, grandparents. I appeal to them: leave Sinai immediately, don’t stay there, it’s dangerous!” - said one of the senior officials of the Israeli Counterterrorism Agency.

The specific reason for these concerns in the department did not name.

Recall, Israel and Egypt have a common border, and Israelis often go on holiday to this country.
