In the US state of Oregon, transgender gave birth to a healthy child from his partner.

Transsexual Tristan Reese, who lives in Portland, Oregon, fathered a boy from his partner Biff Chaplow. Their son, Leo Murray Chaplow, was born on July 14.

Leo is the couple's first biological child, but they are no strangers to parenting. Reese and Chaplow adopted Chaplow's niece and nephew in 2011.

Reese and Chaplow told CNN that Leo "eats like a champion, sleeps well and likes to cuddle."

Reese, who was born in the female body, and then changed his gender to the male, in March published a video in which he explained about his decision to give birth to a child as a transgender person.

“There’s nothing wrong with my body being a trans body,” Tristan Reese said. “I still have my uterus and the ability to bear a child.” I was provided with medical supervision all the time to ensure that the pregnancy was as safe as possible.”

In June, he stopped taking testosterone and began preparing for pregnancy.

“We were under medical supervision the whole time,” he said, “to conceive him [Leo-ed. Forumdaily] as healthy as possible.”

In addition to the "usual products that pregnant women love," Reese was drawn to a card of fries from McDonald's, because of what he faced criticism and negative on the Internet. But after the birth of Leo, the couple received support for Facebook and media attention from all over the world.
