A man who was late for the flight reported a bomb on the plane to delay the flight.

Frenchman Jake Meir Abdellak, who lives in London, was late for a flight from London to Los Angeles and reported that there was a bomb on board the aircraft in order to delay the departure of the liner. He writes about it Travel and Leisure.

The man arrived at the airport before sending the plane, but the staff did not allow him to come on board, as he was very late, and the plane was already preparing for takeoff.

Before the plane took off, 8 minutes still remained, and the unfortunate traveler decided to try his luck, using a rather dubious idea how to delay the plane. Abdellak said that on board is "a harmful substance that can create a serious risk to the health of passengers."

All passengers were taken out of the plane and checked again, and the flight was delayed by 90 minutes. Then Abdellak flew away.

However, when he tried to fly out of the same airport in London the next time he was detained. Militiamen established that the number from which the call was made about the threat belongs to Abdellak, since he booked tickets using the same number.

The man was sentenced to 10 months in prison.

If you are late for a flight, it is better to simply call the airline and its staff can meet you and book a ticket for another time at a discount. But you should not joke about bombs on board.
