Russian Defense Ministry accused the United States of using banned weapons in Syria

American aviation 8 September attacked the settlement of Hajin, Syrian province of Deir-ez-Zor using phosphorus munitions. “In the province of Deir ez-Zor on September 8, 2018, two F-15 aircraft of American aviation carried out attacks on the village of Hajin using phosphorus incendiary ammunition. As a result of the strikes, severe fires were observed,” Savchenko said.

Data on the victims and victims, according to him, are currently being specified.

According to Savchenko, the bombs dropped two F-15 aircraft of the US Armed Forces.

The Center recalled that the Additional Protocol to the Geneva Convention 1949 of the Year prohibits the use of weapons using white phosphorus, since such ammunition is considered a weapon of mass destruction.

Washington has not yet commented on these allegations.

Despite the established cessation of hostilities, the Russian Center, according to Savchenko, records an increase in the number of violations by the rebels in the provinces of Latakia, Hama, in the south-western outskirts of Aleppo.

Note that the Center for the Trying of the Warring Parties in Syria was established 23 February 2016 of the year. The center began work with 22 February in accordance with the Russian-American agreements on the establishment of a ceasefire in the Syrian conflict. The center is directly subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Defense and is part of the country's Armed Forces.
