Mother left her daughter on 9 hours in the car in the heat, because she was late for work
Karen Osorio-Martinez of Mason, Ohio, which left her 15-month-old daughter in the car in the parking lot on 9 hours, was late for work and forgot to bring the child to kindergarten.
Police managed to find out during the interrogation of the parents and the search of the car Osorio-Martinez, writes Miami Herald.

On the morning of August 23, she parked a car with her daughter in a child seat in the car park and went to her workplace. About 17: 00 she received a call from her husband, who was supposed to pick up the girl from the garden, the man said that their daughter Sophia was not there. Then the woman returned to the car, saw a girl who showed no signs of life and called 911. Doctors and police stated the death of Sofia.
The results of the autopsy confirmed that the child died from overheating.
The prosecutor refused to comment on the charges against Osorio Martinez until the police investigation is completed.
