Israel will arm Ukraine and Georgia in response to Russia

If Russia supplies Iran with the C-300 anti-aircraft systems, there is a considerable likelihood that Israel will start supplying weapons to Georgia and Ukraine.

So say the security experts quoted by the NRG edition. At the same time, the supply of C-300 is just promised, and the Israeli military-industrial complex is still awaiting further developments.

Despite the fact that Russia will not supply Iran with the latest modification of the air defense system of strategic importance, the C-300 is a serious threat to combat aircraft: missiles are capable of hitting targets at a distance of 150 kilometers.

In 2010, Russia canceled the delivery of C-300 air defense systems to Iran after unprecedented pressure from Israel and amid sanctions against the Ayatollah regime in connection with Tehran’s nuclear program.

For its part, Israel then refused to supply arms to Georgia and Ukraine.

Ukraine was extremely interested in acquiring the latest Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles, but then, at the recommendation of the Foreign Ministry, this deal was frozen due to the extremely negative attitude of the Russian leadership towards it.

Now, in the light of recent statements by Russia, it is likely that deliveries to Ukraine will begin.

Israel views the behavior of the Russian authorities, in particular, the decision to supply Iran with C-300 as a reaction to what they consider to be a manifestation of weakness on the part of the administration of US President Barack Obama - the signing of an agreement with Tehran on the abolition of economic sanctions.
