The hero of the day: the dog saved his mistress from being bitten by a snake

Anthem, Arizona resident Paula Godwin went for her usual morning walk with her two pets, golden retrievers Todd and Cooper. But instead of a pleasant time in the fresh air, the walk almost turned into disaster.

Paula was suddenly attacked by a snake. One of the dogs, a retriever named Todd, reacted very quickly: she jumped forward and shielded her owner. At first, the woman did not understand at all what had happened until she saw that the dog had been bitten by a snake, she writes Pets.mail.ru.

“It was a beautiful morning until I was almost bitten by a snake. I was saved by my puppy Todd, he jumped right to my leg to shield. This is what a real hero looks like, ”writes Paula in her Facebook.

The mistress picked up the pet in her arms and immediately took Todd to the veterinary center. There they examined the puppy and said that nothing threatened his life and health, and the swelling would soon subside. The dog was left in the clinic until the end of the day. The next day, Paula said that Todd was all right and he was much better.
