The number of Muslims in the United States is growing rapidly and in the near future will exceed the number of the American Jewish community, writes Leo Hohman.

According to official data, between 2009 and 2013, 680 thousand immigrants from Muslim countries who received a “green card” came to the United States. The number of immigrants from European countries during the same period amounted to 270 thousand people.

Not all people from the Middle East and other Islamic countries were Muslims, but most of these immigrants are precisely followers of Islam. The continuation of immigration at this pace and the high birth rate in Muslim families will lead to the fact that the number of Muslims will exceed the number of American Jews, writes the World Net Daily.

Today, the American Jewish community has about 5,5 million people, the number of Muslims in the United States is three million.

According to some estimates, in 20-25 years, the number of followers of Islam will exceed the number of Jews.

Leo Hohman writes that this trend should disturb the Jews, and they should pay attention to what is happening in European states in order to understand what the future holds for them: almost daily attacks on synagogues and other community objects, as well as other manifestations of anti-Semitism, which are intensifying day after day .

The article also cites a study by Israeli specialists David Yerushalmi and Mordechai Kaydar, who found that only 19% of American mosques do not advocate violence. All others are promoting violence in one form or another, the researchers said.

The article draws attention to the so-called “family honor killings,” common among people from Islamic countries. The victims of these murders are mainly women who are killed by brothers, fathers or husbands, the publication notes.
