"He was deliberately drowned by this monster": a woman who brutally killed a puppy is being tried in New Jersey

A woman from New Jersey was charged with two counts of animal abuse, as well as an encroachment on the life of an 10-week-old puppy, which was drowned in a closed cage.

47-year-old Tonya Fea from Jefferson can be sentenced to imprisonment for up to 10 years if she is found guilty of cruelty to animals. In addition, she faces 30 days in the county jail for disturbing public order.

The next hearing of the case is scheduled for May 22.

Recall that in one of the ponds in New Jersey found the corpse of a 10 week-old Labrador puppy - the dog was put in a cage, where a heavy crystal vase was placed to make the construction heavier and not allow it to float.

The cage was plastered with lake vegetation, it also contained a heavy crystal vase with a price tag of 22 dollars, a diaper for a dog toilet with blood traces stuck to the puppy's head.

The rescuer called Jenny the 10-month-old puppy-girl. A Facebook message says that the animal was submerged in the water while still alive.

“The official autopsy report confirms that drowning was the cause of death,” they wrote on Facebook. Jenny was alive and was deliberately drowned by this monster.”

Rescuers also offered a reward of 7000 dollars for information that would lead to the arrest of the case.
