15 states with worst medical care

Paradoxically, in the United States it is not so easy to get quality medical care. Without financial assistance, it can be difficult to find a doctor or undergo a course of treatment. To a certain extent, the availability of a medical service also depends on where you live.

The American health care system is not in a better position, but still the situation in some states is better than in others. US News & World Report published a report with the rating of the states on the level of medical care. The rating is based on the 3 main categories: access to medical care, quality of care, public health.

The best place in the ranking is in the state of Hawaii, followed by Massachusetts, Minnesota and New Hampshire. We publish a ranking of 15 states where medical care is the worst.

15. Montana

Montana - a large agricultural state, where there are no major cities. Many state residents live in areas remote from hospitals and affordable medical services.

14. Nevada

In Nevada, the situation is almost the same as Montana. It is a large state with predominantly agricultural terrain. There are few medical institutions and they are located far from small settlements.

The worst position in Georgia is in the category of access to medical services. But with the quality of medical care, everything is not so bad - according to this indicator, in the total calculation, it takes the 27 place.

4. Alabama

Alabama has a poor record of quality and access to health care. 41 and 31 place respectively.

3. Oklahoma

The most important factor that makes Oklahoma close the top three of the anti-rating is access to medical care. For this indicator, the state takes place 46.

2. Mississippi
