Star Wars 8 will be completely different
The release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens showed that Disney's take on the space saga into its own hands demonstrated to fans that the studio was willing to listen to their opinions and adhere to a classic style of presentation. However, episode eight could be revolutionary.
According to The independent, the director and screenwriter of the next two parts of the new trilogy will be the creator of “Time Loop” Rian Johnson.
“These films will be completely different. I'm friends with Rian Johnson, and I know he's going to do some pretty weird things," said Lawrence Kasdan, who worked on The Force Awakens.
According to him, the two new Star Wars episodes will be based on the universe created by George Lucas, but everything else will be different. The gaps between the trilogies will be filled by spin-offs, including the already announced film about the youth of Han Solo.
As Forum wrote earlier, the seventh episode of Star Wars continues to hold the lead at the box office. In 12 days a film by J. J. Abrams collected in the world more than a billion dollars, setting an absolute record.
