A woman posted a spicy poster to restore electricity
In Florida, a woman came up with a bright idea of recovering electricity after Hurricane Irma: she put the banner “an ardent, lonely woman ...” in her yard.
37-year-old Keynes Lee was recovering in a Tampa hospital after undergoing surgery on the kidneys and pancreas when hurricane Irma de-energized her home in Fort Myers.
On Sunday, a woman set a banner of bright pink letters: "A hot, lonely woman is looking for an electrician to electrify her life."
Lee posted a photo on Facebookwhere it became very popular and attracted the attention of local network specialists who came to it on Monday, September 18, and restored the power supply.
Lee decided on such an extraordinary move after she learned that it would take about two weeks to restore electricity.
“After Hurricane Charlie, I spent two weeks without power, but with an organ transplant, it's a little more difficult to cope without,” she said. — Heat has a bad effect on me, and it is important for me to be in a clean environment. You can't keep your house clean without electricity."
Lee, who suffers from diabetes, was diagnosed with renal insufficiency of the 5 stage in October. She was put on the donor list, where she waited 100 days, after which 31 August underwent transplantation.
When Hurricane Irma came ashore on September 8, she was hospitalized again due to complications, and then she had to move to a friend’s house before coming up with an idea with a banner on Sunday, September 17.
“Now I’m back home and sleeping in my own bed for the first time since August 30th. It's amazing," she said. Daily Mail.
On tuesday she опубликовала photo of his donor, Elijah Mayhew.
“Eli saved 6 lives by donating 8 organs when he passed away at the age of 15,” Lee writes in Facebook. “Eli dreamed of becoming a surgeon and was a kind young man who would help anyone who needed help,” she continued.
Lee asked readers to help Eli's family pay medical bills and funeral expenses.
