A few hours before Latina Herring and her son were killed, the police asked her to "just stop naming in 911." In addition, another 4 man was injured in the incident.

On Monday, April 3, on 3: 20 am Allen Cash, the dead guy, called the police. Upon arrival, the guards saw a quarrel between Cash and Herring. Without arresting anyone, they left the couple alone. After 20 minutes, the call from Cash came again. Arriving patrol witnessed a scandal. The guy blamed Herring for stealing her car keys from him. As seen on the videotape taken from the policeman’s cell, law enforcement officers do not take the altercation seriously.

After that, Herring called 911 more than once, claiming that her boyfriend had a firearm and she was afraid of him. But the police asked the woman not to call. “She called all night, but at some point we asked her to stop calling,” the police statement said.

When the police arrived at the shooting call, they saw the body of Herring and her 8-year-old son. Another 4 man were injured. This 7-year-old son Herring, the father of a woman and two witnesses.

Police say the couple just argued. There was no physical abuse, so there was no reason for the arrest.
