Hillary Clinton could not give a clear answer to her voters on the question of why she took 675 thousand dollars from Wall Street bankers, with whom she is going to fight, becoming president.

On Wednesday evening, one of the voters asked her why she took such a large fee for a couple of public appearances in front of Goldman Sachs employees in 2014.

“Well, I don’t know, they offered so much,” Clinton explained. “Any secretary of state, as far as I know, has done the same thing.”

She argued that she did not know that she would eventually run for the presidency and completely rejected the moment of buying off.

“Everyone who knows me, who thinks that I was bribed, tell me, on what issue? Name at least one. Yes, I speak here every day and openly say that I want to close them. Every single one of them who deserves to go to jail should go to jail,” Clinton said.

Suspicion of bribery may indeed be unfounded. So, in 2013, Hillary Clinton received 200 thousand dollars for her performance to the public. It is no secret that Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are constantly in public for money.
