After two years of development, Winamp is ready to return to the industry. It is noted that he will solve one of the problems of the music world: fair compensation to artists.

“While streaming platforms have made it easier for artists to reach a wider audience, the revenue from this is miserable. The revolutionary streaming that promised so much has left many artists behind. They lack control over how music is presented and sold,” said the LLama Group CEO.

From March 15, the service will be available for artists, and on April 15 - for listeners. That is, performers will have a month to customize their profiles. In particular, we are talking about the Fanzone section, a space where artists can share exclusive content with subscribers. It is planned that there will be different levels and prices. Thus, fans will be able to directly support their favorite artists by subscribing to them and gaining access to exclusives, while artists will receive 85% of the funds for subscriptions.

It will be integrated into the new version of Winamp, and then new versions of the service will be introduced for Android, iOS, Windows and browsers.

Until the end of June, artists will receive some of the service's features: copyright management, licensing, and even NFT.
