The world's largest laptop has been created in the USA: it weighs 45 kg

If you think 17-inch laptops are big enough, then the 43-inch is definitely the mother of all laptops. Texas YouTubers Evan and Catelyn have created a rather impractical but clearly large laptop. Writes about it neowin.

The custom laptop is equipped with an Intel NUC 11 mini PC and has a 43-inch screen packed in a wooden base along with other electronics. However, the duo spent time developing a metal support structure and a hinge strong enough to lift and hold the giant screen in place while you use the laptop.

Speaking of size, the laptop looks so big that even the Redragon K605's gigantic mechanical keyboard feels dwarfed by comparison. And the touchpad is almost the size of a tablet. The icing on the cake are the LED accent lights, which do a great job of enhancing the visual appeal of the giant machine.

For reference: one of the largest laptops in the world is Acer Predator 21X with a 21-inch display and weighing about 8 kg. Another surprise is that the final build of the custom laptop weighs a whopping 45,3kg. Bloggers admitted that they call it the largest laptop in the world. However, no recognized organization such as the Guinness Book of World Records has yet confirmed these claims.

Evan and Catelyn made sure that the laptop could work when there was no power source nearby. To do this, they installed two 150 W batteries (each with a capacity of 167 W)./h) to power the NUC and the screen, as well as a smaller battery for the LEDs. They 3D printed special brackets for holding batteries and other components so that they do not slip when moving.
