A school bus driver who had an accident in New Jersey had problems with the law

But on December 21, the New Jersey State Education Department notified the Superintendent that his permission to drive school buses "has been suspended or revoked and his medical certificate has expired," adding: "You are not informed by this letter that has the right to work as a school bus driver. "

The letters do not indicate why his driver’s license is suspended, but state guidelines state that cancellation may follow criminal history or disqualification for health reasons.

However, the school district received another letter in January from the education department, stating that Muldrow was allowed to go back behind the wheel.

Robinson explained the suspension of Muldrow’s driver’s license as follows: “The information we were given was that Mr. Muldrow’s rights were suspended during the winter period when schools were closed and were not associated with any traffic offenses.

“At that time, Mr. Muldrow presented his updated medical license to the Commission on Motor Vehicles. The state then told us that Mr. Muldrow was a good driver and had the right to work on the school bus. ”
