In Florida, the Uber driver killed a man who threatened to kill him. VIDEO

After a quarrel with an SMS with a girl with whom they either stopped or reestablished their relationship, Jason Boek began to pursue the Uber car, in which, he thought, the girl was leaving home.

Boik blocked the road with his pickup truck, writes CNN. Uber driver Robert Westlake hit the brakes, barely avoiding an accident.

The buoy quickly jumped out of the pickup and headed towards Hyundai Westlake.

“You know, I have a gun? Do you want me to shoot you?” Buek said, holding something in his raised hand - it was difficult to see what it was in the darkness.

In response, the Uber driver killed him with one shot, the incident was filmed by a camera in a taxi driver’s car. Florida police have classified what happened as a “classic case of self-defense.”

Bueck, 34, did not actually have a firearm when he left his pickup truck—he was holding a cellphone.

A 38-year-old Westlake was not an ordinary Uber driver, he is a licensed security guard who has permission to conceal weapons, a man recently graduated from a policeman. Westlake collaborates with the investigation.

The August 28 incident began with an identification error. At a bar in the city of Dundee in Florida, Boyek's friend called Uber for another woman who drank too much, she also helped her into the car.

Boik saw it and suggested that his girlfriend had left in the car, although in fact she had returned to the bar.

Some time before, Buyek and his girlfriend exchanged angry messages, and the man threatened to “get her out of the car” before he started chasing Hyundai.

Westlake then shot him, deciding that the man was a threat. The Uber driver then called 911 and tried to save the life of the wounded man. The buoy died at the scene.

The company Uber stated that they “regret the incident” and cooperate with the investigation.
