In Kharkov, a student at Lexus hit five people to death: details of a resonant accident

The whole family suffered in the accident - husband Alexander Evteev died, and his wife Oksana and her sister Diana are in serious condition in the hospital. Also among the dead were mother and daughter - Alla and Anastasia Sokol from the village of Solonitsevka. In addition, a pregnant woman was injured and is in hospital. There were no reports of injuries to those in the car.

Resonance is added by the fact that the driver Lexus It turned out that Elena Zaitseva, a student at the Karazin Kharkiv National University, is the adopted daughter of a Kharkov businessman, President of the Group-Typhoon and the general director of Ukrenergochermet, Vasily Zaitsev. A spokesman for the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan also reported that Yelena Zaitseva is the sister of lustrated Deputy Prosecutor of the Cherkassy Region Dmitry Zaitsev, who is now being sought and hiding in Moscow.

Zaitseva was not alone in the car; her friend Marina Kovaleva was in the passenger seat. In social networks immediately began to say that powerful relatives will help Zaitseva escape from punishment.

At trial, Zaitseva offered to help the families of the victims. “Dead people are the most important thing that worries me,” she said.

The prosecution asked to be placed in the SIZO, indicating that traces of opiates were found in Zaitseva's urine (the amount is not indicated). The lawyers objected that there are no results of blood tests, and asked to release the client under house arrest. The court arrested Zaitsev for two months without the right to bail.
