Ukraine is asked to deal with the priests because of disrespect for the dead heroes

A number of people's deputies appealed to the Cabinet and the Ministry of Justice with a demand to assess the behavior of the priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, who in the Rada refused to stand in respect of the Heroes of Ukraine who died in the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone.

“In the session hall on May 8, when the President of Ukraine named the names of Ukrainian heroes, many of them were awarded this title posthumously, the audience stood up and greeted the names of Ukrainian heroes, with the exception of representatives of the delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate,” he recalled.

According to the deputies, thus, the clergy showed disregard for the dead Ukrainian fighters.
