In Texas, border guards found an illegal child who was stolen by a smuggler

The three-year-old girl, who disappeared after illegal entry into the United States, was rescued by border guards and the National Guard, who were involved in the search, writes Fox News.

A border patrol in the Rio Grande Valley on the southern border responded to reports that illegal immigrants can hide under a bridge, according to a press release from the US customs and border guard.

When the agents arrived at the scene, a woman who illegally ended up in the US said that her daughter, who also had to cross the border, was gone.

The mother saw that the smuggler and her daughter “were swimming along the Rio Grande when she lost sight of them,” and she does not know if they returned to Mexico or if her daughter came to the United States.

A water border patrol joined the search for the child, and a National Guard helicopter was involved.

The girl, according to the border patrol, was found unscathed and reunited with her mother.

Earlier, the administration of US President Donald Trump said that almost half of the children under the age of 5 who were separated from adults on the border with the United States cannot reunite with them, because many of the adult illegal immigrants are criminals, and some have lied about their kinship with children.

At the moment, the government has not published statistics on how many violent criminals and fake parental claims were recorded in a group of adult illegal immigrants demanding reunification with children aged from 5 to 17. Information on this group will be published later.
