In New York buses, criminals spray an unknown toxic substance.
In New York, there were several cases when passengers sprayed an unknown toxic substance in buses with passengers, writes New York Post.
The first incident occurred on the B15 bus, which runs between JFK Airport in Queens and Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. The incident happened around 17: 00 23 August. After the unknown sprayed the substance, the driver and passengers left the bus. The police found a container with a spray gun, but said they had not yet figured out exactly what was in it.
The second incident occurred around 4: 30 24 August. The aggressive passenger, who refused to pay for the trip, began to curse with the driver, took out a bottle of spray and sprayed an unknown substance on the partition that protects the driver.
“Because of the fumes, I began to choke and felt a burning sensation in my eyes. I had to leave the bus,” said the injured driver, who asked that his name not be disclosed.
The driver and several passengers of the bus in which the incident occurred were taken to Brookdale Hospital.
The police said they were not sure that both incidents were related to the same criminal. Investigation is underway.
