The Ukrainian ensemble Gromovitsya danced the gopak on the main square of Chicago during the Thanksgiving Day parade. Reports about it VIDIA.
The team in Ukrainian national costumes performed folk dance in the middle of the street.
The publication notes that this year at the parade McDonald's Thanksgiving Day It came 5000 performers and 1300 volunteers.
We note that last year the team donated the money from the concerts to help the ATO fighters. They purchased winter clothing and an armored vehicle for one of the volunteer battalions in the Donbas.
Let us remind you that the dance group “Gromovitsa” was founded in 1980 under the parish of Saints Vladimir and Olga in Chicago. The director and choreographer of the group is Roxana Dikaya-Pylipchak.
