Ukraine has banned 162 Russian film and series
The Ukrainian State Film Agency has banned the 162 film and the series that have been produced in Russia since January 1 2014.
This was announced by the Chairman of the State Committee for Foreign Affairs, Philip Ilyenko. He noted that Goskino canceled 207 roll certificates, but by the number of these are 162 titles of films and TV shows, as some of the films were registered several times by different rental studios.
Philip Ilyenko also noted that the rolling certificates of these films were annulled in compliance with the law banning the screening of Russian films.
He also noted that under Goskino there is an expert council that will analyze the content of Russian films produced in 2014 for propaganda of the security forces of the aggressor state.
Also, according to him, today the full list of 162 films will be published on the website of Goskino.
5 February 2015 of the Year The Verkhovna Rada banned the distribution and public demonstration of films produced by individuals and legal entities of the Russian Federation, as well as films promoting (including giving positive information) the activities of law enforcement agencies, the armed forces, other military or security forces of the Russian Federation or individual representatives, and whose plot is directly or indirectly connected with the activities of these organs or formations.
