Thousands of Moldovans re-enter the protest

Thousands of protesters gathered in the center of Chisinau and headed for the Moldovan parliament building. The action was organized by the opposition Socialist Party and Our Party (NP).

According to NP leader Renato Usaty, the protesters are in favor of changing the composition of the Cabinet. “We intend to demand the resignation of a number of members of the government, and we will not leave the protest site until this demand is fulfilled,” the NP leader noted.

The protesters carry with them banners with the slogans “Return a Billion”, “Down with the Alliance”, “No! - anti-popular policy. They are accompanied by law enforcement officers. Additional police forces have also been pulled to the parliament building.

Earlier, Forum reported that the Socialist Party and the PP from September 25 conduct Chisinau indefinite protest. Its members have established several hundred tents in front of the Houses of Parliament and the Ministry of Agriculture. Activists are demanding the holding of early parliamentary elections, the resignation of the president and the head of government, as well as the return of a billion euro stolen from the banking system.

The DA ("Dignity and Truth") advocates with similar requirements; its supporters conduct indefinite protest with 6 September. They, in turn, set up 400 tents in front of the government building, in the central square of the Moldovan capital.
