A powerful storm swept across three states on Tuesday, bringing devastating winds, slight hail, heavy rain and lightning.

In addition to proving tornadoes, residents received reports of flooding and falling trees amid heavy rains in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The storm became active in the north and west of the city near 14: 30 on Tuesday and was approaching the metropolis across Long Island in the evening, October 2.

Because of the storm, trees were felled at Stony Point in Rockland County, floods in Wanaka in Passai County, and even reports of a flooded garage in Bergen County.

In Connecticut, trees collapsed on Merritt Parkway in New Canaan, and part of Route 15 was also de-energized and blocked due to dangling wires in both directions.

By midnight, the rain had subsided in five districts, but the harsh weather still continued on parts of Long Island, especially in Suffolk County.

However, the heat lingers for a few more days. On Wednesday, the weather will be sunny, and the temperature will reach 21-26 degrees Celsius.

It will be a little cold on Friday, and on Saturday the temperature will drop to 15 degrees Celsius, but warming is expected after that. Thermometers will rise again to 21-26 degrees Celsius and hold on at this level until the end of next week.
