Tinder launches version for 'really attractive' people

The developers of the Tinder dating portal have been testing the Tinder Select application version for six months already.

In it, “really attractive people,” which the developers include models and successful businessmen, can find a match for themselves, reports TechCrunch.

The source of the publication, which is one of the users of the experimental program, said that “super attractive” users who are particularly popular in the main version of the application can also join Tinder Select.

The Tinder app independently invites people to a secret platform, some of whom have the ability to “nominate” others to invite them. But those who have been nominated cannot invite or nominate anyone. This system prevents the uncontrolled distribution of Tinder Select among members.

It is not clear exactly how Tinder decides who to invite, and who does not, but it is common among those who were invited in the Select application that all of them are generally attractive and relatively successful. It also takes into account the user's popularity in the main version of the application.

The design of Tinder Select, apparently, differs only in color, as well as the letter “S” in the photo of users. Selected users can switch between special and standard versions using a specific button. Most likely, this is due to the fact that the number of members of the secret version of the site is rather limited in certain markets.

Tinder does not comment on this information. Most likely, Tinder Select will remain a closed version of the program, which only the elite will have access to.
