Dance School “Kaleidoscope” in Brooklyn opens the autumn set

In the first group, younger children will be engaged - from 4 to 7 years, in the second group - from 7 to 20 years. It is important to note that the organizers do not impose any requirements on the level of preparation of children. The main thing is that the children want to dance and not be afraid to work.

In the club and its approach to determining the cost of classes. If the child dances are not very interesting, parents are asked to pick him up from the club. But if the children do not miss the rehearsals and achieve success, then the monthly fee is gradually reduced.

"Kaleidoscope" - the youngest children's dance group in Brooklyn, he is only two years old. During this time, the club took part in the "Matryoshka" festival in Pennsylvania, in the Christmas and New Year shows held in the "National" club, attended events dedicated to Victory Dayand acted in the UN at the presentation of the World Festival of Youth and Students.

In addition, the club got in New York, the prestigious Silver Archer Award was established by the Board of Trustees of the National Award for Public Relations and is awarded to cultural projects in the United States.

Kaleidoscope today is invited to many landmark events not only in New York, but also in other states. Russian-speaking guys from 4 to 20 have been dancing in the ensemble.

Collective organized Valentin Usmanov, who arrived in New York from Ukraine. Choreography at the dance school teaches his spouse - Victoria Markelova.

“We now have children of 18 nationalities in the club. We teach dances from different countries. Children do up to five times a week. We have a very serious physical training, choreography, we learn movements from the dances of different nations of the world, ”said Victoria.

Studying folk dances, as it turned out, is quite an effective way of studying the history of any nation. The leader of the Kaleidoscope says that every time he learns a new dance of a nation with his children, he shares with the pupils information about the history of the nation and the events that influenced its formation. These new knowledge for children are then necessarily reflected in the dance.
