Pentagon employees have spent millions on casinos and entertainment for adults
A new Department of Defense report has found that military and civilian Pentagon employees used government credit cards at casinos and other adult entertainment venues.
Between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014, employees spent $952 at casinos and $258 on adult entertainment. Air Force personnel spent $96 on casinos and $576 on adult entertainment. US Army employees - $404 and $657 for casinos and adult entertainment; Navy - $37 and $491, respectively.
According to the representative of the department, usually the employees then reimburse the expenses from their own funds, and resort to travel cards for personal use in order to hide the casino visit from their loved ones.
