A strong earthquake occurred on the east coast of the United States.

An 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit the East Coast of the United States. Reported by the US Geological Survey, writes Fox News.

In the service message in Twitter it is said that an earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 7 km in 16: 45 on Thursday, approximately 10 kilometers east-northeast of Dover, Delaware.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, there are no tsunami warnings.

It is reported that ambulance officers and rescuers in Dover did not receive urgent calls for assistance to the victims.

“There are no reports of damage or injuries at this time. Anyone experiencing serious damage from an emergency, call 911,” writes the Twitter Delaware emergency agency.

The agency asks people not to call 911 to find out information and details about the earthquake, “it’s important that telephone lines remain free for emergency calls.”

Paul Caruso, a geophysicist from the US Geological Survey Information Center in Colorado, reported that residents of the Middle Atlantic area felt the earthquake. According to him, the power of the element is small, so there will be no serious damage.

Social network users write that the earthquake was felt in both Baltimore and New York.
