Russian factory is ready to supply its products for food

Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) is ready to supply equipment to Thailand through barter in exchange for agricultural products, the company’s general director Oleg Sienko told reporters.

“Wagons, road construction equipment and, traditionally, military-technical cooperation through Rosoboronexport,” he called the range of products that the company can supply to Southeast Asia.

Now, according to the top manager, plans and capabilities are being compared. “We are ready even yesterday, the issue of mutual settlements is being determined,” Sienko emphasized.

Answering an additional question, what options are being discussed, he noted that there is a barter option and there is a commodity credit option.

The general director of UVZ said that the issue is currently being studied by the Rostec state corporation. Mutual supplies of products manufactured in Thailand are possible. We are talking about agricultural products, Sienko explained.
