Kommersant has published a draft resolution of the Security Council UN on "Boeing." As a document, which will only be discussed at a meeting in six hours, got into the editorial office, is unknown.

The sole purpose of the international tribunal to investigate the causes of the fall of the Malaysian Boeing-777 near Donetsk is “to punish those responsible for committing crimes related” to the tragedy. This is stated in the draft resolution of the UN Security Council presented by Malaysia.

The authors of the initiative have already developed a detailed statute for the tribunal.

In this case, it is a question of punishing not only the direct perpetrators, but also those who indirectly contributed to the tragedy. To create a tribunal, the authors of the document propose under Chapter VII of the UN Charter, which allows the use of sanctions and force against countries that do not fulfill the requirements of the resolution.

In Moscow, they have repeatedly made it clear that the purpose of this initiative is to “replace the present investigation with political shows.”

The meeting of the UN Security Council, at which the draft resolution will be voted on, will begin today at 03: 00 New York time. Russia is expected will veto on this resolution.
