French President promised to protect all religions
French President Francois Hollande, speaking at the Institute for the Arab World in Paris, said that his country would protect all religions.
The French leader also said that Muslims are the main victims of fanaticism.
Hollande expressed confidence that Islam and democracy are not mutually exclusive concepts, and that a Muslim society can be both democratic.
