The US Ambassador to the UN has become a victim of Russian pranksters. VIDEO
Russian prankers played out US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, calling her on behalf of the new Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Moravetsky. A 20 minute recording of a conversation with Haley appeared on the official pranker channel in YouTube.
According to Daily Mail, during a conversation, pranker Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov asked Hayley about the fictional island of Bino in the South China Sea.
“Do you know Bino?” asked the prankster. “Yes, yes,” Haley replied.
“They had an election and we believe the Russians interfered,” he said.
“Yes, absolutely, they did it. We've been watching this very closely, and I think we'll continue to watch as we're concerned about the issues that continue to develop in the South China Sea,” Haley said.
During the conversation, she also thanked Moravetsky for the support she provided at the UN vote.
“Let me start by thanking you very much for the support we received during today's vote. We will never forget this,” said the US Ambassador.
We are talking about voting for the resolution, which condemned the decision of US President Donald Trump on the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Poland was one of the 35 countries that abstained from voting on this resolution.
Haley's spokesman, John DeGori, declined to comment after the video was made public. “We have nothing to say in this regard at this time,” he said.
