From the American left her husband because of the affair with the landlady, rented by spouses on Airbnb

A US citizen reported that her marriage broke up after a trip to rest in Auckland, New Zealand. The couple stayed with a woman who put out her apartment on the Airbnb portal.

The landlady, she said, had been “unusually caring and intrusive” during their stay, but she initially did not perceive any threat to her marriage.

However, as it turned out, her husband arrived a few days earlier, and, a week after their joint rest, stayed for another 7 days.

The woman, who prefers not to give her name publicly, suspects that during this time her 30-year-old husband and the owner of the apartment “got to know each other better.”

According to the woman, this is a new form of online dating, and Airbnb can be one of the possible ways of communicating strangers in search of the second half.

“I don’t think I’ll ever use Airbnb again because of the bad memories of my own experience,” the woman said.

The American couple is currently in a divorce, and the owner of the apartment continues to meet with her new lover.
