Matt Damon will become Born again because of Snowden

Matt Damon will act in a franchise about agent Jason Bourne.

According to the actor, this act was inspired by a former employee of the CIA and the US National Security Agency Edward Snowden, who now lives in Russia. Recall that the hero Damon - also a CIA agent, so that sympathy is obvious.

“The director and I always looked at the Bourne films as a reality in which Bush was president, and so it was like we were waiting for the world to change. Without revealing his cards, I will say that Bourne went through the war in Europe and operates in a post-Snowden world. There are discussions about espionage, civil liberties and the nature of the new democracy,” Damon says of the film.

The film will be directed by Golden Bear winner Paul Greengrass, who has already directed two Bourne films (“The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum”).

Alicia Vikander and Julia Stiles will also appear in the new Bourne movie, which will again play special agent Nicky Parsons.
