Congressman wants to ban US aid to Ukraine until Trump wall is completed
Republican Congressman Matt Rosendale introduced a bill under which the United States will not be able to provide assistance to Ukraine until the construction of a wall on the southern border of the United States is completed and operational control of the border is achieved. US President Joe Biden stopped the construction of the wall, begun under his predecessor Donald Trump.
The bill says the wall should include a 9-metre-high steel barrier, perimeter lighting, surveillance cameras, sensors and tunnel detection technology.

“While our country has ignominiously failed to secure its own border and protect our territorial integrity, America last bipartisan politicians tell us it is our duty to do this for Ukraine,” the statement reads. Rosendale's statement.
“Before they drag us into another foreign conflict over the border of an Eastern European state that is thousands of kilometers from our coasts, they must at least secure our southern border,” the congressman said.
