California recognized the worst state in the US for quality of life
California, the “golden state,” ranks 50 in quality of life, with gaps in ecology and quality of life, according to the latest data. He writes about it USA Today.
A report published on Tuesday, 27 February, talks about the quality of life based on a healthy environment and attitudes in society. It also takes into account urban air quality, pollution and voter turnout and other criteria.
California ranks last in urban air quality and 45 ranks as “health risk due to high levels of pollution”, although the staff is in 13 in drinking water quality. California also ranked second from the end of voter turnout, 44-place in community activity and 38-place in social support.
Despite its beaches, red wood trees and Hollywood glam, problems often arise in the quality of life. Los Angeles is always considered the busiest city in the world.
States with the best quality of life were in the north of the United States. North Dakota ranks first, followed by Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and South Dakota.
Ratings and report are based on an index created by a consulting firm. McKinsey & Company, in which more than 30 000 people were interviewed.
