The FBI for 4 of the day saved more than 80 children from sex slavery, among them was a 3-month-old baby
As part of the annual operation Cross Country XI FBI employees saved 84 baby from being sold into slavery and arrested 120 traffickers. The operation lasted 4 day.
According to USA TodayOn October 13, FBI officials in Denver, Colorado, rescued a three-month-old girl and her five-year-old sister. As it turned out, the family “friend” made a deal with human traffickers to sell girls for $ 600.
In addition to US units, law enforcement agencies from Canada, the United Kingdom, Cambodia and the Philippines participated in the 2017 operation.
Last year, as a result of the operation, 82 children were rescued and 239 people were arrested. In total, with the 2003 of the year, FBI staff rescued 6500 children.
