He was a dance club at the church. He played in the school football team. He studied well. And yet he opened fire on classmates, killing 10 people.

Police say Dimitrios Pagurtzis, an 17-year-old accused of murder at Santa Fe High School in the state of Texas, had no suspicions.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said the photo on the page Facebook the suspect, which shows the shirt with the phrase Born to Kill may be the only warning sign.

“But in terms of law enforcement investigations, in terms of arrests or confrontations with law enforcement, historically speaking, he has no history of criminality,” he said at a news conference.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that, according to the information contained on the computer and mobile phone shooter, he was going to not only shoot, but also to commit suicide.

Apprentice Dustin Severin told KPRC-TV that he saw a teenager in the gym before shooting his usual clothes: black boots and a coat.

He said that school coaches teased him "for bad smell," and he was mostly withdrawn. One of his teachers said that "he was calm, but not meek."

And yet there were many other signs that Dimitrios Pagurtzis was an ordinary, promising teenager.

School officials say that he was previously on the “honorary list” of high-skilled school and should have graduated from school in 2019.

According to local media, he was a member of a dance team in a local Greek Orthodox church. He also played for the Santa Fe American football team in the 2015-2016 season.

This is the second case of shooting at a US school in the last seven days.
