The White House accused Ukraine of interfering in US elections

The White House has accused the Democratic National Committee (DNC) of colluding with Ukraine during the US presidential election. He writes about it Washington Times.

“If you're looking for an example of a campaign interacting with a foreign state or a foreign source, look no further than the DNC, which actually coordinated opposition research with the Ukrainian embassy,” White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said.

Rejecting questions about the meeting of Donald Trump with a Russian lawyer during the presidential race, Sanders noted at the White House daily press briefing that the work of the DNC with Ukraine is well documented.

DNC officials reportedly worked with officials at the Ukrainian embassy in an attempt to slander Donald Trump during the campaign.

“This is not an accusation. That’s what they took on,” Sanders said.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, meanwhile, denied Sanders' statements. “Unfortunately, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders must have been poorly briefed about Ukraine and the DNC,” the embassy statement said.

“The Ukrainian Embassy in Washington did not coordinate opposition research with the DNC,” the statement said.

Theme of Ukraine appeared after the last attacks on the president, connected with the meeting of his son Donald Trump Jr. with a Russian lawyer, who allegedly represented the interests of the Russian authorities.
