Belarus completes ratification of visa abolition agreement with Israel

13 January on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus published the text of the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Israel on the abolition of visas for owners of national passports. The official publication of the document was the final stage of the ratification process.

As reported by the IzRus portal, 11 of December last year, the agreement was approved by deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus. After that, according to the national legislation, the document was to be ratified in the upper house of parliament - the Council of the Republic, and then be signed by the president of the country.
After 90 days from the date of the receipt through diplomatic channels of the last written notification of the completion of the internal procedures required for ratification of this document, the agreement will enter into force.
Recall that it gives citizens of Belarus and Israel the right to visa-free entry or exit from the territory of the state of the other party for the purpose of a visit or stay not exceeding 90 days during the 6 months from the date of the first entry.
The agreement is concluded for 1 year, and its validity is automatically extended for subsequent one-year periods until one of the parties sends the other through diplomatic channels written notice of the termination of the document. In such a case, it ceases to be valid on the 90 day after the date on which the other party received the notice.
