American woman built a house herself, watching videos on YouTube

The story of a mom with 4 children, who was able to build a house on her own after watching videos on YouTube, proves the limitless possibilities that the Internet gives us.

Sarah Brookins had to run away from domestic violence, and she needed a home for herself and the children.

The family had no idea how to build a house. They started watching tutorials on YouTube. Sometimes they visited local building stores, consulting on a particular issue.

Her 17-year-old daughter admits that her mother did not think of doing everything from A to Z on her own.

But what a surprise it was when, in 2008, the family built the building independently, based on the knowledge gained on the YouTube channel and consulting in local hardware stores.

After such a grand life victory, Brookins even wrote a book.
