Starbucks offers free coffee with a simple condition
Earth Day (April 22) is just a few days away and Starbucks is launching a green promotion to mark the occasion. Starting April 22, Starbucks is expanding its rewards program and many will be able to get free coffee. Writes about it Thrillist.
All you need is a reusable cup. If you bring a clean, reusable cup to one of the many Starbucks locations and present your Rewards membership, you'll earn 25 stars.
Typically, customers received one or two stars per dollar spent on each purchase, depending on the payment method. Buying a $2,10 large-sized coffee, coffee drinkers typically earn between two and four stars.

Free coffee at Starbucks is worth 50 stars or two trips with reusable cups. To receive a free craft drink like a frappuccino or other, customers will need to visit Starbucks 6 times to earn 150 points.
This initiative is part of Starbucks' efforts to reduce waste. The company has actually announced that it plans to cut its waste in half by 2030.

At the moment, the promotion is available only in institutions. Starbucks said it is "working on solutions" to make this available to drive-in customers as well.
